Advanced optical approaches to reveal the neuronal code underlying sensory perception with Tommaso Fellin

We had the pleasure to receive Dr. Tommaso Fellin (Italian Institute of Technology) for the monthly seminar of the Neurotech Center. Dr Fellin is currently head of the Optical Approaches to Brain Function team in Genova.

In his captivating talk, Tommaso presented to our institute the latest advances of his team in neural circuits sensing techniques, allowing researchers to causally investigate the coding rules involved in the processing of sensory information with greater specificity and sensitivity.

The work he presented sparked a lot of interest from the audience and the lively conversation following his talk may hopefully be the premise of future scientific collaboration.
