GENEVIEVE ROUGON

Emeritus Research Direcetor

Genevieve recently joined the team as an Emeritus research director. Her long and astonishing career in Neuroscience is a true asset for the team. Her wise comments and experienced advice are always appreciated and carefully followed.

Before joining the team, Genevieve also served as former Director of the Institute for Development Biology (IBDML) Marseille Luminy, member of the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale (FRM), Scientific Advisor for Neurosciences at Agence Nationale pour la Recherche (ANR), President elected of scientific committee for IRME (spinal cord research Foundation), Nominated member of National Committee for Science and Technology, President elected of French Society of Neuroscience, Deputee Director of Life Science Department CNRS, among many other functions.

Genevieve is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including Légion d'Honneur, FRM Camille Woringer Prize on Brain pathologies, and Ordre National du Mérite au titre de la Recherche
